Why Being Physically Fit Is CRUCIAL To Your Financial Health

DESSERTS-1.jpg

I know what your thinking, "it's been a long hard day at work, fighting traffic, dealing with the kids, etc. Now I have to do even more work?" Believe me, I COMPLETELY get it! However, doing this one thing even if it's just a couple times week is incredibly beneficial, not only to make you feel and look good but gives you more money in your pocket. How might you ask? I'm glad you asked. Just hear me out for a few minutes. Take a look at these financial benefits to exercise.

1 ) Less Medical Bills

Even if you are in your 20's, perfectly healthy and go to the doctor just for your annuals today doesn't mean that you unhealthy habits won't catch up to you (believe me, I recently hit the 30's threshold, I know). According to a researched article in Wall Street Journal, women can expect a 20-30% less chance of breast cancer.

2 ) Increase Paycheck at Work

Now, this one I thought was really interesting. According to a researched article in Time Magazine, women who work out get an average of 10% more of an income in comparison to the sedentary female counterparts. Men (sorry guys) only get an increase in 6% more. That's still awesome though! This exercise-induced productivity level is worth its weight in gold. Literally!

3 ) Getting Paid Going to the Gym

I'm being so serious. There is an app called Pact that will pay you to go to the gym. The way that it works is downloading the app and giving them your weekly goals. Once you do that (and actually complete them), your counterparts that didn't meet their goals pay you! How cool is that?! According to Pact, it's creating a 92% percent success rate. Really it's a win, win situation!

Wrapping Up

All in all, this is a great way to go about getting your financial (and physical health) in order. Not only that, it will make you feel so much better. I can personally attest to how much better it has made me feel, even though 2016 has been one of the hardest years to date! I hope this has been encouraging as it as been for me. Let me know what small financial step that you have taken, in the comments below! I so want to hear them, you never know they may help someone else out!
